Summary
A series of short stories with The Collector doing various things with any and all bugs I want it to interact with. This is just me writing a backstory for The Collector and then making some found family shit with The Collector. Everybody is kind of OOC because I don't know how to write them :(

He staggered through the burning woods, desperate for shelter, for water, for air, along the only path the fire permitted him, a rock ledge that overlooked the river, stained brown from all the blood, all the carnage of the battle that still raged in the valley below. A fog of black, sooty smoke loomed in between the trees, but thinned out on the ledge. He cradled his mangled arm as he lurched forward, forward on a pair of swollen ankles, shackle-scarred legs, desperate for escape from he knew not what.
He only knew it was evil—pure, invincible evil—and if he shifted, they would have him. His wolf was fierce but fair-minded, a creature of instinct and hunger—and instinct, he had discovered, could be manipulated, wielded, owned.
The man with no name would die before he would be owned again.
In which Bucky is a lonely, determined, but tormented wolf searching for his mate while shepherding an adorable pack of rescue dogs around the West Coast, and Steve is the righteous but grief-stricken Alpha of an idyllic werewolf pack, who'll do anything it takes to keep his wolves safe under the constant threat of a HYDRA attack.

Summary
One hell of a chapter by Rhino. For me the battle of New York has always been like a stepping off point in the MCU. Maybe it's because I watched the Agents of SHIELD a bit too much. But it's clear that a lot of those bridges from the TV show won't be crossed in this one, unless Rhino really wants Skye to still be part of Coulson's mobile crew eventually.
I was more intrigued by how Conner is initiated into the general knowledge of the greater Galactic goings on. Recognising Chitauri and the space whales were a nice touch. And then I thought, is Rhino going to introduce Kryptonian remnants as well! But that would be a lot of exposition on how super powered beings like the Kryptonians have survived without them breaking the MCU and creating a radically different reality.
So, this is just my attempt to introduce some Kryptonian elements and maybe try to keep the larger MCU reality intact. -

Les punitions tombaient quand Arkin n'obéissait pas. Des coups, des privations, jusqu’à être enfermé ou bien marquer pour qu'Arkin n'oublie jamais ça. Cette leçon et pourquoi il l'avait mérité. Cela finissait par s'ancrer dans son être. Un instinct de survie qui l'avait poussé à intéresser le Collector et le faire réussit à quitter le manoir piéger.
