(Change in description)Tony Stark owns several slaves. Clint, who was on the run for several years, adjusted to living in the Stark tower serving Tony, alongside Bruce and Steve.
Part 1: A journalist looks into Tony Stark's life and threatens to release an incriminating documentary about him. Everyone at the tower works on stopping that from happening. Unbeknownst to most, red room has something to do with this.
Part 2: Clint and Phil were captured by the red room. Everything appears to be falling apart. Dark(est) part of the story. (This would be the explicit part, rating may change)

The only two exceptions have been this morning and five days ago, after you first fixed his arm, Sir.”
Jarvis showed footage of Bucky watching Tony work on the suit.
“I don’t remember that”, Bucky muttered.
“What would you suggest, J? Some form of sleepwalking?” Tony asked.
“Since he talked to you, Sir, that is rather unlikely,” Jarvis responded. “It seems more akin to something like hypnosis.”
Bucky drew in a sharp breath. “It’s him”, he gasped. “It’s the Winter Soldier.”
“You are the Winter Soldier”, Tony said.
“No, the Winter Soldier is separate from me. He is fully Hydra’s creation.”
When Steve brings Bucky to the tower to heal, after the fall of SHIELD, everything should be fine. But the Winter Soldier keeps reappearing, leaving Bucky with holes in his memories and uncomfortable, especially since the Winter Soldier makes it his mission to come on to Tony. And Bucky is not gay. He definitely likes women. So why does his alter ego insist on wanting Tony? -

He gasped in a breath and tried to shake free of the dizzying disorientation as he pushed himself up on shaking arms. The world swooped violently and he fell back down, jarring his chin on the rough ground. He closed his eyes against the nauseating swaying before he threw up.
He swallowed harshly, forced the rising bile back down, and took slow, deep breaths. Just like Slade had shown him. He could practically hear the man’s voice in his head, as gruff and impatient as always.
Orientate yourself, Jason. Find a weapon. Get somewhere defensible. Kill anyone in your way. Recon.
He nodded along to the remembered instructions and forced himself to stand. He stumbled drunkenly for his first few steps but he wouldn't let anything stop him. Not ever again. Definitely not some stupid fucking dizziness.
He staggered across the rough grain of the rooftop he had landed on. New York’s skyline stared at him across the East River.
How the fuck had he ended up in Brooklyn?
Fuck.
He had to find Slade — he, at least, would know what to do.

One hell of a chapter by Rhino. For me the battle of New York has always been like a stepping off point in the MCU. Maybe it's because I watched the Agents of SHIELD a bit too much. But it's clear that a lot of those bridges from the TV show won't be crossed in this one, unless Rhino really wants Skye to still be part of Coulson's mobile crew eventually.
I was more intrigued by how Conner is initiated into the general knowledge of the greater Galactic goings on. Recognising Chitauri and the space whales were a nice touch. And then I thought, is Rhino going to introduce Kryptonian remnants as well! But that would be a lot of exposition on how super powered beings like the Kryptonians have survived without them breaking the MCU and creating a radically different reality.
So, this is just my attempt to introduce some Kryptonian elements and maybe try to keep the larger MCU reality intact. -

Rhodey knew that was his cue to leave, Tony's version of a polite dismissal, but his feet were rooted to the floor. He couldn't take his eyes off the dark lines climbing up Tony's neck, lines they both knew weren't road rash. Road rash didn't look like it was trying to poison the brain. It didn't create the paleness of his skin, the sweat from his brow, and the tiredness of his eyes. It didn't cause him to collapse, too weak to hold himself up.

Honestly, that's just it lol. This fic is shameless Tony whump and shameless domestic Avengers/Avengers family vibes. I think we all still need some of that, even if it is 2025 already :)
Update: This fic got a life of its own. Will now also feature: Tony having trust issues, the team solving said issues through (playful, of course) bullying, the team being a family, Tony having other issues, the team helping him through said issues and sleepovers.
