Robin nodded.
“Okay. Then let’s do this instead. Lucas, you and I go to the hospital and get Max. We move her somewhere safe. The hospital is the most vulnerable place right now.”
Her voice dropped near the end. Will understood her worry and gently pulled Robin back against his shoulder.
“So… when did you two get this close?” Mike suddenly snapped.
Everyone turned to him in surprise.
“Jesus,” Robin muttered, glancing at Will.
Will looked straight at Mike.
“We already talked about this.”
Mike shook his head.
“Yeah, we talked—but this—” he gestured at the two of them, “I didn’t know you were this close.”
Joyce looked at her son and Robin. She knew there was something she didn’t understand yet—but this wasn’t the moment to ask.
“Mike,” Lucas said firmly.
Mike turned to him.
“We need to get to the hospital. This isn’t about Will and Robin being close.”
Mike took a deep breath.
“You’re right. I’m sorry.”

Mike's voice is as steady as he can manage with Will's gaze burning a hole through his chest. “I didn’t… I didn’t know. At least, not the way I should’ve. Ever since you saved my life, it feels like… like a waterfall picking up speed, like everything is moving so fast out of my control. Like… like…”
Will pales, his voice a breathless whisper. “Like an avalanche.”
Mike releases a breath. “Yeah. Like an avalanche.”

“William …” a deep voice heard, it was quiet yet it enveloped the whole room with darkness.
Mike turns to see Vecna, walking out the gate. The first instinct that came to mind was to shout at him.
“STAY AWAY FROM WILL YOU NOSELESS BASTAR-” he yells out before both him and robin were thrown across the wall by his telekinetic force. Both came crashing outside the WSQK wall.
Vecna pulls Will closer to him, staring deep in his eyes with pure menace.
We will do such beautiful things together, William.
Will Byers no longer can fight it. He's taken by Vecna. Only to feel--loved? is this "love" being thrust upon him the key to beating Vecna or the cause of his demise?

Unsettling loud ticking of a clock could be heard. Mike watched Will slowly emerge from his hiding place, but he didn't approach. Will extended his arm forward, just like back at the military base, and his body gradually transformed into a mass of bare muscle; a milky haze clouded his beautiful green eyes. Mike froze in place, frightened, unsure how to escape yet another nightmare, but all he felt was a soft warmth wash over his body.

Henry Creel never fit in. He was quiet, sensitive, and spent most of his time alone. When his family moved into the Creel house, strange things started happening only to him. Lights flickered, shadows moved, and time felt wrong. Henry thought he was losing his mind, but something was actually watching him.
That something was Vecna, a real monster from the Upside Down. Vecna saw power in Henry and slowly took control of him. As Henry grew older, the monster’s influence became stronger. In the end, Henry was fully taken over and became Vecna.
Meanwhile, Will Byers was dealing with his own problems after being rescued from the Upside Down. When he returned to school, everyone stared at him. He looked pale and different, and kids began calling him “Zombie Boy.” Will tried to act normal, but he felt the Upside Down still inside him.
Two boys, two different struggles, both tied to the same dark world. But one of them wants it to end, one of them doesn't want it to end.
