The Ark is a small space station - it's only logical to think that they would have spent years working alongside each other, living nearby, sharing friends. This is that story. Pre-canon but true to the events of the show, be prepared for enemies to lovers yearning and misunderstandings. Riddled with (hopefully not too on the nose) parallels and missing scenes.

Hermione and Draco are both dealing with enough stress in their fifth years. Not that either knows about the others' ambitions and frustrations. Draco has been captured as a project by Voldemort between the summer of his fourth and fifth year, and is now tasked with things darker than he'd ever imagined. Hermione is being groomed into a seer by Professor McGonagall in a way to prevent the darker visions from becoming realities. Divination is a shared interest between both their puppet masters; neither is going into it by choice.
Note: This is written to start during the summer between fourth and fifth year, starting directly from the start of the Order of the Phoenix movie. The book merges events and developments that happened during BOTH fifth and sixth year due to how the plot will go, so if you're kinda confused about the timeline, sorry lol.
