After his battle with Unicron, Optimus was finally reunited with Roller, and their emotions surged as if no time had passed. Even after millions of years, their bond returned instantly, but Roller still felt a hint of jealousy over Optimus and Prowl’s past relationship.
This fanfic is set in a post-ending world of the IDW1 universe, but somehow, in a version where everyone survives and gets their happy ending. I just wanted a world where Roller and Optimus can be happy.

Summary
For decades it was highly controversial to keep seekers in aquariums, because they don't survive very long, none lasting more than a year. That all changed 20 years ago, when a specimen was born in captivity.
Starscream is happy in his aquarium, showing off tricks to the crowd and proving that, with the right training, mers can be taught simple language and even basic maths.
Eventually though, his keepers decide it's time to see if their experiment can be repeated, if Starscream was a one-off, or if all captive-bred seekers can be "trained". His keepers decide to mate him with a freshly caught, bonded pair.
Will Starscream and the new additions learn to get along? Or is Starscream doomed to be alone forever.

Blue optics flashed, her smaller frame slinking towards where he sat in her casual walk. Elita's servo gripped his arm, before leaning her helm onto his shoulder in support. Her touch practically burning his platting with warmth.
"Since when were you the worrier between us?" she smirked.
"Someone has to be," he mumbled.
Gentle yet rough servos cradled his faceplate, "You have an army and they are as every bit committed to you as you are to them. You can trust them to share the burden. Trust them to protect our gift."
Her derma on his was soft, warm, and electric....
...But Optimus woke up in his quarters. Cold besides for the heat of his working forge, it's steady pulses counting down until the arrival of his newspark.

The city-state of Vos has managed to stay neutral despite the many vorns that Iacon and Kaon have been at war. Unfortunately for Crown Prince Starscream, as part of the alliance agreement he is to be conjunxed to Sentinel Prime.

Waking to a blank processor, his processor wiped clean, and the devoted gaze of Optimus Prime, Sentinel is told they are conjux endura, after an accident that left Sentinel with amnesia.
And more so shocking is the revelation that Sentinel is carrying their sparkling. The revelation leaves him blushing and bewildered, but Optimus's unwavering love feels like home.
Still, something about this idyllic recovery doesn't quite add up...
As faint echoes of the past begin to stir, he wonders if the perfect life he's been given is everything it seems.
