Summary
During the thrilling atmosphere of the Singapore Grand Prix, Stanley Snyder, the treasured driver of Mercedes and the whole F1 scene, at last, makes eye contact with Xeno Wingfield, who has been keeping his eyes concealed but, at the same time, detects a slight quivering of the engineer's hand, a sign of emotions that have been suppressed for a long time. Stanley takes the risk to put forward the question that has been tormenting him for the entire season; meanwhile, the Xeno's thoughts go wild with confusion, guilt, and a mysterious craving which he cannot identify. In an environment of powerful machines, rapid movement, and instantaneous choices, lust and panic confront each other and thereby put both persons in a situation of wanting to confess and facing the possibility of being hurt.
