Summary
Some people talked about having an angel on your shoulder.
Mikan Tsumiki didn't have that. She never had that. Instead, in the past, she had her ex wife.
(When did she start thinking of her as her ex?)
At times of crisis, she would always hear her voice guiding her. She would ask herself, “what would Chiaki do?” and use that to guide her admittedly croaked moral compass.
That voice was fading more and more everyday. It had been years since Chiaki had died, and with it came the slow death of Mikan Tsumiki's angel.
Now—she had a different voice she listened to.
“You should totallys kick that baby,” the devil on Mikan Tsumiki's shoulder says.
