Hibiya doesn't tell Hiyori that she's going to die anymore. He used to - the first time, he grabbed her hands and told her that he watched her get run over by a kei truck. She looked bewildered for a second, and she probably would've gotten mad at him if not for the panic on his face, and Hiyori tried to tell him he was just dreaming. It almost worked, because he truly did want to believe it, up until she died for the second time and he woke up in his bed again, still shaking.

Leo was the opposite of Izumi. He was the sun, so much brighter and happier than Izumi, surrounded by a warmth that he couldn’t describe, and it was all Izumi could do to stay in the reflection of his light as the silver moon. He was a weird guy and an idiot who always was finding things to take home “to the kids”, his younger siblings who seemed to mean the world to him. They got along pretty well, in Izumi’s opinion, and Leo even let Izumi share his long red scarf on a cold winter afternoon while they walked home.
He thought they got along, until that day.
