What that treacherous window had morphed into an enticing fantasy was, in reality, a twisted world - maze - of uncertainty and she was lost in it.
But then, there was him. A beacon in the storm. A flicker in the darkness. A spark that exploded into a flame, and spread into a fire so fast, she hadn't even blinked before the maze was burning down.

The world had waited for many lifetimes for the prophecy to be fulfilled.
And when Clark found the orphaned warrior called Indigo Blue, marked by the omnipotence the prophecy stated, he believed he’d found the one. Trained to be undefeatable, worshipped as divine, Indigo became the eye of hope and freedom when she was once trapped in the ashes of homelessness.
But omnipotence had a price to pay, and Indigo was never meant to be divine.

The first line is a straight stroke down his sternum.
The second curves out, delicate, to the arc of his ribs.
Kaeya draws like he’s afraid of permanence. Like he’s trying to teach the charcoal restraint. Like each touch is a question posed to a man who never answers until the last page of the book.
He draws ribs, not bones but wings. Traces breath, not lungs but song. He follows the curve of Albedo’s collarbone like it’s the horizon line of something sacred, smudging deliberately, letting the black seep beneath his fingernails.
“You’re still not moving,” Kaeya murmurs.
“I don’t want to miss any detail,” Albedo replies, eyes fixed on Kaeya’s face. “Every breath would alter the line.”
“You trust me that much?”
Albedo tilts his chin. “I trust you to draw me cruelly if you need to. And worshipfully if you don’t.”
Or, Kaeya learns that reverence doesn’t mean restraint. It means wanting, fully, and still choosing to stay.
