Summary
Five cycles after Neteyam’s death, the reef still speaks his name.
Aonung has spent those years trying to live in the shadow of a boy he once hated, admired, and never truly understood. On the eve of Neteyam’s fifth eclipse memorial, Aonung feels something calling him to the Tree of Life a pull he can’t explain.
Then, at dawn, a stranger rises from the ocean.
A warrior. A ghost.
And the first name he speaks is Aonung’s.
Neteyam is alive… and nothing in the reef will ever be the same.
