Then things take a turn for the unexpected when Danny gets hit by a drug that destabilizes his qi.
Now as Danny struggles to not add another lake to the landscape, Matt’s got his hands full helping him out -- a handful which becomes more literal than anticipated after Matt proposes an... unconventional method of treatment.

This sidestory for Look What You Made Me Do takes place sometime between the events of Chapter 102 and Chapter 114.
I originally intended on writing this up as it's whole little self-containing mini-arc while other events were playing out in the story, but it didn't work well pacing-wise. Still, I'd gotten 4,000 words deep and I didn't want to just throw away what I'd written, so I'm posting it here.
I don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing it, but I'll put a note in the ending Author Note with a blurb to expand on what it was intended to cover.
