    What doesn’t kill you makes you weird at intimacy.

    This fic explores dissociation, post-traumatic healing, and sex; the discomfort of having to be embodied to fully accept intimacy. What it means to seek pleasure after trauma // how trauma sometimes becomes directly written into our pleasure.

    It imagines how not to give up on relationships despite rough patches. My boys are in their mid-20s & just trying to figure out life after all the shit I put them through in the last fic. Oh, and they love each other a lot (obviously).

    Can be read as a stand-alone fic despite references to things from the previous one (“I’ll Find Forgiveness in Your Heartbeat”)
