   Summary

   Red, a nearly forgotten hero, has returned to civilization after almost a decade since disappearing following a fallout with his loved ones. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old Ash has recently been crowned the new World Champion and has come back to his home in Kanto to celebrate with his friends and family. But as old foes rear their heads once more, and a terrifying force previously lost to time reappears in their world, the two trainers cross paths and team up. With their Pokémon and the help of old and new comrades, they must do battle against both these otherwordly foes and other league competitors, all while chasing after a legend that is threatening reality itself.
