Summary
Jongup and Daehyun have been together, both as friends and as romantic partners, for a really long time. Daehyun has always been so touchy with Jongup, but Jongup almost never returns the physical affection despite wishing he could, which has left their relationship in a constant state of uncertainty. Now that Jongup is thirty years old, it's time to officially end this imbalance once and for all in order to allow their relationship to flourish properly.

Summary
Moon Jongup has never known what it is like to grow up in a peaceful world. His people, dwellers of the Southern region, have been fighting the Northern terrorists and their allies, the Easterners, for decades. However, unwanted change comes when the Northerners leave their longtime allies to die and the leaders of Jongup's people make the decision to welcome the desperate Easterners into their ranks. In less than a day, Jongup's world is turned upside down.
The integration of the Easterners into their ranks requires many Southern teams to accept new members. Jongup's team, considered one of the best, is no exception. When a beloved member of his squad is replaced by an Easterner named Jung Daehyun, Jongup cannot bring himself to accept the newcomer as anything but the enemy. From the beginning, Jongup vows to ensure that the Easterner never forgets how much he is hated for the things he has done.
In the years that follow, Jongup comes to learn that his view of Daehyun is blurred by a veil of assumptions and that there is much more to the Easterner than what the surface tells. Whether those things are good or bad is the real question.
