Oliver Queen is a good friend and a good superhero. As a superhero he admires what Batman does. That a civilian like Alfred helps him is admirable, Green Arrow has to admit. But as Oliver Queen, he just can’t stop worrying about Bruce Wayne. Because that means Alfred’s heroic contributions are putting his good friend, and his many innocent children, at risk. And Ollie, both the hero and the friend, has to protect Bruce and his family from that.
Or: 5 times Oliver tried to use the Batfam to protect Bruce from Alfred (and failed) and the 1 time he found out why he didn’t need to.

Bruce came to a halt, and Oliver turned to face him, expecting him to be withdrawn, muttering an apology and splitting for his dorm. But his tired eyes had a spark in them, for once, and he purposely stood up straighter, brow a line of determination. “That,” he said.
“That?” Ollie repeated, head tilting in confusion.
“Yes. I want to do that. What you did. Get wasted.”

Summary
Oliver, Slade, and Shado have developed almost a throuple situation by the time Ivo and his crew show up.
Oliver chooses to save Shado over Sara just before Slade saves them all. Putting a rift between them.
Shado still get’s hurt and dies from infection of her wounds after their attempt to save Slade does not work.
Slade wakes to a world with one of his lovers dead, a powerful serum running through his system, a thirst for revenge and his last remaining lover which is his only tie to sanity.
Just to be clear this is a Slade obsessed with Oliver story but their in love so.... it's fine I guess?
Side Note: I am definitely one of those people who was more down for Arrow when he was still killing people and dubious in his morals so if it gets into show canon, HUGE divergence to be expected.

He is surprised to find there are in fact people living on the island and to find familiar faces amongst the ragtag group at camp.
