Summary
Trigger warning. There are going to be some very heavy themes in this fic, centered around the topics of asexual erasure, relationship abuse, the aftermath of trauma and trauma recovery regression.
When people bring a bird into their home for the first time, they are often advised to clip their wings.
Most of the time, this is suggested under the reasoning of keeping the bird from hurting itself, preventing them from landing somewhere unsafe, or getting lost.
However, the primary reason is all the same...it is to keep the bird from flying. If a bird can not fly away, then it is easier to teach the behaviors that the owner wants from it. It forces the bird to be more dependent, having to rely on its caretaker and form a bond faster.
Most importantly,
A clipped bird is much less likely to escape.

Summary
James Potter gets bored one day and decides why not make a group chat with four random numbers with the same area code as him? Those numbers happen to belong to Sirius Black, Lily Evans, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. Chaos ensues, of course.
A/N: primarily a text fic just for fun, but I might do fully written stuff now and then to move the story along. don't expect the chapters to be too long, but i'll try to update regularly
no longer updating :[ i absolutely despise this fic it was fan service

Summary
“You think you're clever, but you’re so stupid that you, with your whole looks and charm and whatever, couldn’t get me to go out with you after asking a hundred times!”
James was grinning more happily than she had ever seen him before. “Did you just admit that I’m good looking and charming, Evans?"
Featuring: The pugnacity, passion, and pining between Lily and James, the secrets and smiles between Sirius and Remus, the trouble and triumphs of the Marauders. Set in idyllic Hogwarts in the seventies, with your record players and roller skates, colorful knit jumpers and corduroy. Most importantly, however, is the poetic romance and epic bromance.

Summary
Perhaps Peter wasn't always a coward. Perhaps he was just a victim of circumstance. Or maybe he just got sick of being belittled by his 'friends'.

Summary
Lily Evans was planning to spend her sixth year just like she'd spent the previous five; spending time with her friends, studying for her classes, rejecting the distasteful wooing from James Potter, and enjoying the general wonder that comes from attending a school of Magic. Lily did not anticipate an observation her friend Marlene made at the welcoming feast ("Awe, look. Mother hen Potter is in full effect already.") would cause her to wonder what the obnoxious group of boys did whenever they weren't behaving like monkeys. And she absolutely was not going to let her curiosity get the better of her. Not even a little. Lily definitely was not following them to the library to listen in on their conversation. She had to study! The table next to theirs just happened to be her favorite. Obviously.
