Vortex has crunched up and spat out another pilot (again), and First Aid has gone in to retrieve them (again). Only this time, Vortex doesn't seem to be keen to let him go...
With the Quintesson threat looming, they can't take any chances. If only the AI would quit going so rogue.AKA the one where Jazz just can't stay dead, Swindle is haunted by (literal) ghosts, and nobody is making the healthy choice.

I. Getaway stole the Lost Light, and nobody is happy about it except him. Three planets died, but Megatron didn't, and nobody knows where Overlord is. Prowl's broken promise to the Galactic Council is going to have consequences, and Rodimus wants his ship back.
II. The broken Matrix of Leadership was returned to Optimus before the war ended. It just woke up, and Optimus doesn't know how, why, or what it’s doing.
III. Mirage will do anything to get Hound back--even go utterly mad again. Or worse, make peace with his amica.
IV. Galvatron refuses to give up his claim to Decepticon leadership. If Ravage wants to be the leader of Destron entire, she'll have to cancel him the old-fashioned way: by killing him herself. And the EDC would like her to do it as soon as possible.
Content Advisory: Canon soup with IDW/G1 base. This series began as a Soundwave/Ravage MTMTE fix-it fic. Heavily seasoned with Japanese G1 and TFP. By now you should know what to expect from me. Jazz had never expected for one of his cousins and bonded to pass away one cold evening, leaving behind a pair of splitspark twins. He knew of them, had met them once or twice, but when the rest of his family began to pass them over and over again, he knew he need to step in.
The only problem is that his work is only willing to wait for so long. He needs to go back. He works weird hours.
He needs a babysitter.
Prowl hated that running was the only option he had. He needed to get away, but with his certifications to become an enforcers around the corner, he thought he could hold on. When push comes to shove, he knows he needs to start over. He has no credentials, his Academy credits won't transfer, and his skillset is incredibly limited.
He needs a job.
