And obviously they didn’t spend all their time together - they had their own friend groups they enjoyed spending time with, and Milena liked to go off campus to friend’s houses in the area during the weekend to get away. Lambert was himself, of course, and needed his alone time as well, and he happily chilled in his room playing games in between the occasional email from Milena. Weirdly it wasn’t the same need for alone time that Lambert would normally require after so much time spent with someone, but he didn’t question it too hard. Aiden didn’t drain Lambert like most others did either, though the little shit definitely drained him more than Milena did.
It was nice, it was great, and Lambert totally and so wasn’t falling for her, you fucking got that?

Summary
Jaskier adjusted the lute on his back, the city of Cintra on the horizon. He had not met any friends on his travels to the city, but then again, he hadn’t expected to do so. He was with several other bards, all responding to the call Cintra had made for bards to make a song cycle about Queen Cirilla’s reign. Even with his hasty exit from Redania, he managed to send a letter to a friend who he hoped would be a friendly face in the city, though they had not parted well.
The young queen was shrouded in mystery with a bit of infamy. Everyone knew that she was claimed by the Law of Surprise by the Butcher of Blaviken. The deranged witcher brought some of his witcher friends when Nilfgaard tried to conquer Cintra. Though Cirilla was only twelve at the time, her powers combined with the witchers were able to keep Cintra from the edge of defeat, though her grandmother still lost her life in the process. At the age of twelve, she was put on the throne, despite not being of age.

Summary
Taking the Eye of Magnus out of Saarthal was a mistake; they all knew that now. Alas, hindsight would hardly help now that this powerful artifact threatened to rip apart the College, the nearby town of Winterhold, or at worst, the entire mortal realm... all of that due to one man's insane lust for power. Having murdered Archmage Aren and taken control of the Eye, the Thalmor agent Ancano was now close to gaining the power to rival the gods themselves, to remake the world in his image... or tear it down completely.
However, the College mages were far from finished; bearing the Staff of Magnus, they storm the College and confront Ancano, intent on stopping him once and for all. It all goes to hell when the mad Elf draws too much power from the Eye and ends up destabilizing it...And that is how one particular member of the faculty finds herself in a world so similar to hers, yet so different at the same time. With no way to get back home, she has no choice but to keep moving and make her way in this foreign realm.

Summary
A blow to the head renders Lambert's memories foggy after a brutal hunt. When he wakes up, he finds himself being cared for by a chipper cat witcher who offers to walk the path with him while he recovers.
Aiden hasn't known the foul-mouthed wolf long when he finds a griffin standing over him, preparing for the death blow. He saves his life without a second thought. Soon he finds himself traveling the path alongside his new friend whose injury took his memories, including those that drove his prejudice against cat witchers. The closer he grows to Lambert, the more he worries the day will come when Lambert wakes up and sees his medallion as the brand of a traitor again.

The story begins not long before Geralt, Triss and Roche arrive near Flotsam. From then on, I plan to stick true to the in-game plot, at least the parts that the player sees. What happens behind the scenes is my personal twist.Please note that "The Witcher” belongs to CD Projekt Red and Andrzej Sapkowski. This is a fan work written purely for fun and appreciation of the characters.
Later edit: 30 chapters in and I have to admit that this current piece is, in fact, romance. Didn't plan it so, but the characters kind of ran away with it.
