The group has only been in The Hollow Life for a month. They're bored out of their mind.
Kai has the bright idea to go on a road trip, through all the realms they'd travelled through beforehand. It might be fun- or at least different.
But Adam's been acting weird around Kai, and Mira is still mourning Skeet (even thought she's pretending she's not) and Vanessa is still wracked with guilt, and Reeve is still pretty existentially not-okay.
Is this gonna be as fun as they'd hoped? Or will inter-personal conflict (even though they're not people), get in the way?

Adam doesn’t know why he kept the shirt.
He knows why he chose it. He has quite the vivid memory; he would collect Hollow Games merchandise and stuff it all in his closet; he wouldn’t wear it that much, but when the opportunity for him to finally play came around, he knew he had to wear it to the tournament. Something about showing off for That Weird — for Gustaf.
But that was then. That was when he idolised the games; when they all did, when they would spend their free time training for the tournament (and in Vanessa’s case, eating burgers with Skeet). That was when he’d dreamt about living here, in The Hollow.
That was before.
Now, The Hollow’s logo is just another reminder of what the stupid game put him through. Why he’s just been reduced to a line of code, living in a fake world, while his real self goes about his daily life, unknowing.
(or: Adam's still got the T-shirt with the Hollow Games logo on it by the end of the series. He still wears it every day, despite hating the games now. Why is that?)

Este es un fanfic nacido de la inspiración de varias canciones de rompimiento porque Marisela y la Quinta estación crearon versículos de la biblia sumamente inspiradores.
Hasta antes de concursar en el vacío, Adam y Reeve llevaban un romance complicado, el cual se vio fracturado a días de participar, concluyendo en los equipos de Kai, Mira y Adam contra Skeet, Vanessa y Reeve.
Reeve podía pensar que el perder el vacío era castigo suficiente por la trampa que hizo Vanessa, eso hasta que vio en pantalla como Adam besaba a Kai.
