Summary
Samar Al-Haddad's move to Mystic Falls proves to be the correct decision, despite all her mother's concerns.
The town was small, certainly, everyone was judgemental, of course, but Samar did not mention any of that to her mother over the phone, choosing to paint the small quaint town in the best light.
The true reason for her being in Mystic Falls would be lost on her mother otherwise, for how could she explain that the town's quiet life was far easier on her newly heightened senses than the busy life of New York? How could she explain that in Mystic Falls she could breathe in the fresh crisp air on a walk without inhaling twenty people's scent of blood? No, it was better that her mother believed that Mystic Falls was perfect for all the reasons it was not.
And for a short time, the town truly was heaven-like.
But then the comet happened, and with it, the promise of Samar's doom at the hands of those who were destined to her by fate to protect and treasure her.

So some shit is gunna happen, I recommend reading a few chapters to see if you like it. To actually summarize would contain spoilers for how the plot is going to go and since I haven’t decided you’ll have to figure it out as I post just like I am as I write. I’m committing to a chapter a month, if I ever get to a buffer of more than 10 chapters I’ll post extra but I would not count on it. I’m a slow fussy writer apparently and tend to fall down accuracy checking worm holes.

The universe began with Gaea and Nyx, whose sisters, The Fates, controlled destiny. This balance was broken by the powerful witches Qetsiyah Bennett and Amara Petrova were sisters in spirit. Qetsiyah created the immortality Elixir before her wedding day for her and Silas. Silas used his psychic powers to trick Amara into loving him, leading her to drink the Elixir. Amara never truly betrayed Qetsiyah. Amara co-created The Other Side with Qetsiyah but Amara alone created the Cure and together Amara and Qetsiyah sealed Silas a cave with the Cure. From Gaea's resulting sorrow, Inadu was born. Her death created the werewolf curse. Amara, Qetsiyah, and Inadu are seen as family in The Other Side. The prophecy, overseen by Hecate and Artemis, required a correction via the Petrova line. In 1992, the final Petrova doppelgänger, Elena Gilbert, was born under a Waxing Blood Moon. She embodies the convergence: a Traveler-Witch and a Crescent Wolf. Elena's true family includes her friends Caroline Forbes, Bonnie Bennett, her guardian Jenna Sommers, and Sheila "Grams" Bennett. Elena's arrival is the reckoning; she must harness the immense, fractured forces in her blood to prevent the total collapse of all existence.
