Summary
Rekrap (called Rek by family and friends) is the only heir of a thriving kingdom. As per tradition, at 21 years old, the heir must go through a process called "The Selection" to choose their partner. Rek can't put off his selection any longer. Fifteen girls, chosen by his friends, family, and advisors, and one must become his wife. Rek is completely in over his head, extremely anxious, and about two steps away from a panic attack, but he can't put off his selection any longer.
Y/n is a working-class girl, with a mother as a sculptor and her father, a painter. Y/n has never known affluence, but she is happy with her parents and siblings, and that's all she needs. Her hope is to someday become a solider for the royal guard, protecting her kingdom from harm. However, a summon from the palace flips her world upside down, and now she isn't sure where she stands anymore.

So Parrot moves, remembers, gets caught in some fictitious questline that borders on providence, and moves again. He lists, learns a few names that get added to a roster of contacts on his communicator. Gains enemies, too many at times. Then lists again. He gains a status, a quote of infamy.
Nothing ever stays too long, not with him.

ParrotX2’s life sucks, like really badly. Well, of course it would. He’s born quarter parrot which basically meant his wings were too small to fly while still having them affect ordinary life. His parents died very young, he has almost no friends and the people he was friends with either died or left him.
he lives off of instant noodles and he works at the most dangerous coffee shop around. Oh did he mention his powers suck ass?
But it’s fine, it’s totally fine, as long as his life plans don’t get thrown out of the window because of Villains, or hero’s, or Vigilantes. He’ll make it work.
Turns out, life kind of has a way of fucking him over.

Peace and quiet. Something everyone needed, but not everyone got all the time.
Team Lifesteal [or LS for short] didnt seem to deserve a single ounce of it. Reason number one, they were dubbed the villians [they didnt even do anything] which meant they were always on the run. And two, they had school. Thats right, 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭. They were all just a bunch of teens who wanted justice for the world.
A bunch of teens who had powers was normal in this world. The world based off of Humans and Hybrids, with magic being a typical thing here and there.
The only differences was that 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗲 of their hybrids had magic abilities, with some of them being human. All these powers were given by ancient jewels embedded into their day to day accesories.
So question was, how do the people who framed them have the 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘦 jewels?.

Only seconds after ending his stream, he’s surprised to feel two warm arms wrap him in an almost awkward hug from behind his chair. Still, a tired smile works its way onto Fein’s face, because somehow Rek’s mere presence is enough to make him happy. Unfairly, Rek also presses a kiss to his hair, accompanied by a content hum.
“You did so well! How many kills did you get during Sky Battle? Twenty?” he asks, and Fein’s face flushes a light pink at the realisation Rek had been watching his stream.

Any chance to get ahead, to one up the biggest thorn in his side, the ones who’d been attempting to hunt Apocalypse since day one. He would take their hearts, again and again, as many times as was necessary, until they were dead and buried where even the moderator couldn’t bring them back.
And if his teammate handed him an opportunity on a silver platter, it would have been rude to refuse.
