Delvin's Slice of Heaven Is the official story for my FPE oc. A silent and deeply haunted boy named Delvin Romulus is a senior at Paperville High, a nightmarish parody of a high school where some of the teachers are literal monsters, ruled by the tyrannical Princess Alice. Despite this, he refuses to take it lying down, and using the growing power vested in him, fights to save his school. To do so will require a deeper understanding of the magical, often nostalgic but equally desolate and harsh world he lives in, and even then, success is far from a guarantee.
The purpose of this story is threefold. First, it aims to give FPE, and the Katieverse as a whole, a setting i deeply adore, a coherent lore, story and cosmology, something it unfortunately lacked before it was abandoned by Katie. Secondly, it aims to give the setting a real hero strong enough to challenge the evils that lie within this setting, as Claire, despite being lovable as hell, is ill-suited for such a role. Don't worry, she's still important. Thirdly, it stands as a personal test for me. An effort to put my writing skills to the test and put something worthwhile out there.

"You mean the bullies?" Engel chimed in, with Bubble joining the conversation as they sat together with the duo.
"Where's Claire?" Lana asked.
Engel and Bubble exchanged glances before sighing in unison. "We don't know the full story, but Claire got a water dump on her again. It's the bullies, obviously, but something changed today-"
Engel leaned in, making sure no one could overhear. "Miss Thavel just happened to walk by, saw the scene, and ended up snapping at Oliver because he was the first person she saw."
"Oh wow." Abbie abandoned his homework, listening intently.
"Do you know the 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘬𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘳?" Bubble added.
"Come on, spill it!" Lana urged.
"Thavel almost went full hands-on with Oliver, if it weren't for Bloomie interfering. But 𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺, not only did Oliver get detention, he also has to clean the school restrooms for a month."

This was the mind set of many who walked through the school. Not for engel, he would stop at nothing to end this cruel system, running to help students in trouble of being eaten, but in the end engel was still a kid, leading to only bruises and cuts following his path, living only because of his good grades. Despite this engel continued to fight to the increasing worry of his friends and sister, if only engel could use that iron will of his to just punch this system in its evil face. Like that would happen?
