Nexus had been visiting with Terra in secret for a while. Not therapy (why would he ever even need therapy to begin with?), but just to speak to her. Nexus has finally gotten a shard and has used it to erase all Solar's memories ever since he was brought back. After realizing that, yes, he still cares about the eclipse, he tricks Solar into thinking that the celestial family has been doing a lot of bad and that Nexus is actually the victim of this story. The two go on to work together, getting as close, if not closer, then they were before Solar died.
