It turns out that of all the people on the team, you and Bucky's reputations are the ones hardest for the public to swallow, so Valentina hires an image consultant that tells you that you and Bucky will be roommates and she'll schedule an interview with a major magazine to "soften up" you and Bucky's image and make you more palatable to the rest of the world. You'll have one hell of a time learning how to cohabitate with the grumpy Avenger, especially since you're trying to suppress your crush on him as desperately as you can, but maybe there's a silver lining to this situation after all. Post Thunderbolts, but pre-Fantastic Four Bucky/Reader ficlet.
