myunggi's throat was dry. he blinked slowly, like it would make sense of what was happening.
"i think..." he said, uncertain. "...you're both freaks."
namgyu laughed. so did thanos.

As Gi-hun plans his uprising, In-ho debates his decisions: either betray Gi-hun or help end these games he's been stuck in for years. In this alternate ending, he ultimately ends up choosing Gi-hun. But, the Squid Game officials decide they're not quite done with the games and In-ho is now stuck as a real player. Gi-hun and In-ho have to find a new way to work together and take down these horrific games once and for all with the help of their other teammates.

Oh. It suddenly clicked in Namgyu’s head: this was 𝘵𝘩𝘦 guy.

It's not everyday a washed up rapper reappears at your workplace, before you're even opened, after vanishing without a trace. And it's definitely not everyday either, when you find out that you're both in shitty financial positions that throw you into some life-or-death game. After sort-of using Thanos to his advantage pre-games, Namgyu finds out it's not very fun when the roles are flipped.

But that color makes Nam-gyu's curiosity spike to the stars: it’s odd, unfamiliar: how can it not spark some interest in the man? He decides to take a closer look: after zooming the gunsight, he realizes that color is more familiar than he could have expected it to be.
That splotch goes from a few pixels to a head of hair. Then that head turns around, revealing a face he’d recognize in every context possible, something that now doesn’t look as odd or as unfamiliar as before.
That face belongs to Choi Su-bong, also known as Thanos, a guy Nam-gyu knows a whole lot about.
After getting recruited as a soldier, Nam-gyu discovers he’s not the only one taking part in the games: only, Thanos’s role is opposite to his.
He’s one of the players.

This is a "what if" scenario where the X's win the vote after Mingle, and everyone leaves with 356 million won each. Now that the games have ended, things should return to normal for the players that have survived and left with this money.
... At least for some of them.
However, for the likes of players with significant debts - such as Im Jeong-dae, Lee Myung-gi and Thanos - 356 million isn't enough.
They are going to have to improvise. They've got 356 million won at their disposal, which isn't enough to pay off their full debts, but they can use it in other ways to earn more money.
What will they do?
... AKA just a fanfic where I both manage to give the characters happy endings, and write completely random bullshit that probably wouldn't be able to realistically happen in reality.
