Summary
Stranded on a lonely island after a violent storm, Prince Amrothos of Dol Amroth is pulled from the surf by Arwa, a fierce Haradrim woman with many secrets. Bound by necessity, the two forge an uneasy alliance as they struggle to survive the wilds—and each other. Yet as the days pass and the walls of prejudice begin to fracture, a quiet bond takes root, unsettling and undeniable.

Patterns and echoes of what she knew was supposed to happen - she could see them everywhere. She was what was wrong in the picture, the thing that shifted everything and caused devastating changes, and yet even then the weave of history showed a similar image to what she had expected.
Being reincarnated into the body of an Elf, growing up in Rivendell, it had always sounded like a dream to her. It was both a dream and a nightmare. Love and grief were inseperable for her, even when she was surrounded by people who were supposed to be immortal. The future loomed menacingly ahead, promising war, love, and even more loss.
She didn't want it. She wanted freedom to choose her own fate, and she wanted the freedom to explore Middle-earth.

Erestor, unable to take the indignity of being disregarded and cast aside now that Glorfindel has returned from the dead, determines to rid Middle Earth of him once more, for good this time- except, he gets caught, and an exciting adventure of mystery, intrigue, and a crime ring of ambiguous morality ensues when Aragorn refers him to his good friend Legolas now that he's out of a job. Oh, and Legolas is the leader of an organized crime ring. I think. I was 14 and didn't seem to have any clear idea of where this story was going. Enjoy.

One of his diplomats has been suborned by the Khandians, another seems to be entangled with the Steward’s daughter, and then Arahaelon’s lover Tuor has some news for him.
[Written by my co-conspirator. For some reason, we like torturing Arahaelon with terrible situations, even though we’re very fond of him. He just started out as Thor’s grumpy boss, and became so much more.]

Nallon really hopes that Baradir hasn’t noticed him noticing this. Things in the Embassy are difficult enough, what with the necessity to remember one’s invented fiancée to hold off Lady Nidhien, Deputy Ambassador Arahaelon’s grumpiness, and the usual insanity of Haradric Imperial politics.

The Haradric Embassy begins to suspect the matter has resolved itself, when they get a visit from the Lord Steward himself.
