Jack Murdock thought it might be good to get away from New York for a bit. Fights haven't been going so well, leading him to struggle to make ends meet. Matt isn't so happy about the move. He thought going to Chicago was dumb and that he'd never be happy again. That is until he sees Marc Spector. Marc is the designated "weird kid", an outcast just like how Matt feels. So who better to start playing games with?
A/N: This isn't actually related to The Eyes of Khonshu and "MoonDevil's Secret MCU Timeline", some things will be similar but it's not exact.

I just love moon knight so much and had more ideas. I’ll take request and update when I can. Just a one-shot with fluff, angsts, relationships, hopefully more!
Chp 1: Marc and Steven meeting Jake, some manipulative Khonshu
Chp 2: Layla helping them with a bad switch day
Chp 3: Moon system getting closure with their father, Layla providing emotional support
Chp 4: The moon system just wants to spend time with Layla, but Taweret has a mission for them. But something happens and they actually get what they wanted? Nice.
Chp 5: Things are still new and a bit rocky a few months after Cairo. A misunderstanding lead to an argument between Layla and Marc, causing him to get triggered badly. Jake shares a light of insight, and a new form of understanding settles between the system and Layla.
Chp 6: A mission to NYC leads to the moon system meeting the Avengers?! Things take a turn as misunderstandings occur

Elias Spector has done some research on DID, including the articles Marc sent him. He's read up on the famous superheroes, like the Scarlet Witch, that Marc is apparently friends with. And, in particular, he's looked into the hero(es) that he's...about 90% sure Marc secretly is.
Marc, Steven, and Jake have hashed out exactly how much they're going to share with Marc's father. They've put together some visual aids. They've called in their loved ones to provide emotional support...and, if necessary, a getaway driver.
It's a lot of prep and care and effort, on all sides!
It just might be enough to get them through lunch.

Marc is just a Beta. He is just that, a Beta, and has no real purpose in life. His life sucks because of it, and there's nothing he can do about it besides than to take it, take it, take it.
But Steven is there, despite it all. Steven is with him, has never left, and maybe things can become better with him by Marc's side.
...However, neither of them have expected there to be a third. And neither of them have expected for things to turn out the way they do in the end.
