The world has begun genetically engineering children, and while most are just engineered for health or beauty reasons, some are being engineered secretly by the government as part of a military program to save the country in the case of nuclear war. That's the function of 'the Program': to create the superhuman force responsible for being the "break statement" to Day Zero.
Enter the GEHED (Genetically Engineered Human Explosive Device), responsible for the destruction of enemy systems before they can even move. Katsuki Bakugo is one of the latest generation of GEHEDs created by the Program, and he's grown up knowing that if the end of the world starts, it's up to him and a bunch of other genetically engineered kids to stop it. But Katsuki hates the rest of the Program, especially the other kids in it, and has spent his life trying to escape the Program. What happens then when he's forced into a class where he has to work hand-in-hand with other program kids? Is Katsuki really human? Is anyone? Is the Program really the answer to the end of the world? Will any of them survive it? And what of the kids within it-- when the public finds out they exist, how will they react?

Summary
Originally born as three normal foxes, Lily, Charlotte and Rika lived their lives not knowing much about the world around them. That was, until they were suddenly taken by a group of scientists funded by the United States Government. After being captured, They were genetically modified, forced into human bodies they never asked for and forced to train to become soldiers with no way to leave. They hoped that some day they would be able to escape the complex that imprisoned them, and one day, they got their wish when violent riots broke out, sending the complex into chaos and letting them escape.
Now they were free to explore the world however they chose, finally given the chance to learn what really being human was like. However, no matter how far they go, or how human they look, their past always finds a way to catch up with them in one way or another...

Angrod and Aegnor woke up a century or so before the Rebellion. While they are both eager to avoid it from happening again, they had different approaches on how to achieve it. Aegnor, the calm and collected one, wants to make peace with that side of the family, while Angrod, the impulsive one, wants to cut it from the root. Too bad his brother is stopping him... though with the surprises they kept finding, perhaps it was a good idea. Not that he was ever saying that on his face.
Aegnor knew that he was going to suffer as he was forced to become his father´s helper in this whole wedding planning for Elenammë and Telpehalda, he just didn´t know it was going to be so much. He also discovered some things he would rather not know. He guessed he should get help... if only two of his brothers didn´t have the attention spawn of cocker spaniels... well, at least he was here to prevent Angrod from making too many big mistakes... who he was kidding, this was going to be a nightmare.

Inspired by The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins. This is a modern retelling of Jane Eyre in which Bertha has a degenerative illness and is in a nursing home—meaning it’s easier for Rochester to keep her existence a secret from Jane because Bertha does not live in his house. I feel okay about revealing this detail because nearly everyone knows about Bertha by now, even though her existence is supposed to be a plot twist.
The title of this story references what Jane says to Mr Rochester about Bertha in Jane Eyre: “You speak of her with hate...It is cruel; she cannot help being mad.”
This fan fiction is somewhat faithful to the original story, though set much more recently; it has many of the same plot points. However, some plot points are changed to reflect modern sensibilities. For example, in the very first chapter, Jane’s uncle rather than her aunt is depicted as abusive, because I believe it is misogynistic to portray a woman this way.
