Summary
Mona Faye Broussard is your typical, everyday working woman. She's young, beautiful, sweet as pie, and owns her own bakery, Mona Faye's Beignet Cafe. She lives a pretty simple life too as a Bachelorette. But her whole world is turned upside down when she is an unwilling witness to a drug sale turned homicide. Afraid, she turns to the cops and is thrusted into the safe arms of her secret crush, Detective Bud Carter. Little does she know, he likes her too although he tries to stay professional. But as time goes on with her staying there, his professionalism begins to gradually fade away replaced with even more affection for her.
