(Y/N) is the disgraced daughter of the Empire—the child of Emperor Zarkon himself. Betrayed and imprisoned, she endured experimentations by Haggar and her Druids and was forced to fight in the arena. Upon her exile, she finally manages to escape the clutches of her father’s Empire.

And Lance, in other circumstances, would have been amused by that reaction, but there was a little girl he had to bring back to her mother; he hadn't slept for almost twenty-seven hours and needed a break.
"No, dude, now if you want to excuse me..."
The boy turned Lance to him, their faces a short distance away, purple eyes fixed on his, and Lance's treacherous heart skipped a beat.
"Blue Spirit, I'm Red Warrior. Do you really not remember me?"
At that point, Lance began to break out in a cold sweat. Of course, he couldn't remember him. Lance wasn't the real one.

The closest thing to be illegal is Keith running away but he’s already eighteen and an adult so it isn’t, maybe they were talking about the violence in the nightmares but they’re DREAMS! maybe that both of Keith’s parents are gone but he was in the foster care program the entire time? (I wasn’t able to get around to explaining that, it was pretty early in the fic that I deleted it) I-I really don’t know…? If you don’t like scary this is not for you but…it’s not that scary, my (unspecified person of relation) really liked this and they’re like…young. Again it has nothing with me, it’s Kangst (Keith angst). Another person called me unemployed, I have a job, I did great in school and I’m physically capable of just about anything! I’m not desperate for attention. Anyways sorry!

After Shiro's disappearance, the paladins struggle to go on and continue fighting against the Galra Empire, they switch lions with Keith as their leader and try to be whole again, but nobody knows exactly where to go from there, how to search for their lost friend, and each of them deals with the loss in their own way.
Meanwhile, Lance battles his insecurities and loneliness and tries to find what he contributes to the team, wishing to have something that made him special like his teammates. But on a rescue mission to a barren planet, they find someone they didn't expect, and when a fight ensues, Lance gets more than he bargained for when he gains something that settles a new path in front of him.
Maybe he should have been more careful with what he wished for.
"This is the thirteenth time already, I can't keep doing this, I'm going mad, I can't stop it, I can't save you!" Lance cried, full out sobbing in the darkness of his room, it was hopeless, he was stuck and nobody could help him, no matter what he did, it was always the same, and he knew he was slowly spiraling into insanity, and the worst part? He couldn't tell anyone, even if he wanted to, he'd tried, he'd nearly choked, he never felt so alone.
