Summary
Dean Winchester didn’t expect Stanford to change his life — he just wanted a fresh start, a solo dorm, and maybe some quiet nights with Queen on full blast.
Instead, he got a roommate with eyes like the sea before a storm, a heart full of mystery, and the patience to see through his walls.
Between apple pies, pancakes, and late-night bickering, Dean finds something he didn’t think he deserved — peace. Maybe even love.or in short:
Dean Winchester’s college experience checklist:Move into dorm ✅
Argue with roommate ✅
Fall in love with said roommate ❌ (pending review)
He didn’t sign up for feelings, but Castiel Novak might’ve missed that memo.

Summary
Dean woke up that morning with one single mission in his head: pancakes.
Golden, fluffy, dripping with syrup, stacked high enough to count as an architectural achievement. He stumbled into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from his eyes, and reached for his trusty frying pan.
Which immediately broke off in his hand.
If only he could have predicted that the innocent idea of frying pancakes would entail with a person hogtied in the trunk of his car.
But why? Why him of all people?
Worst morning ever. Worst morning ever and right on his day off. Life was a bitch.
Based on the reverse trope where the MC kidnaps the mafia boss. But make it an accident.

Summary
“Castiel Novak liked Dean Winchester more than he liked the number eight, and hated being away from him more than he hated flies.”
Dean Winchester has never stopped being haunted by the demons his father woke in him. He grew up believing that suffering was the only reason he was put on this earth, and even as an adult, his mind still likes to play that trick on him. Now, he and his brother think they’ve finally found a place they can call home: a small psychiatric clinic in rural Kansas, where they take things one day at a time and care for people who’ve been through days just as bad as theirs.
Castiel Novak carries a weight that was never his to begin with. He’s convinced that anyone who loves him won’t survive it. Admitted with diagnoses of ASD, OCD, and PTSD, Castiel believes he’s going to spend his last days trapped between the white walls that surround him.
But when a quiet, mutual fascination grows between the flower-crowned nurse and the patient with a hyperfocus on bees, both of them are forced to revisit the uncertain paths of faith—and slowly discover that some flowers really can grow in dry soil, and that not all bees have stingers.

Summary
It's been said that when Castiel first laid a hand on Dean, he was lost. This isn't true; not completely. You see, Castiel was never lost. He was always exactly where he needed to be, at exactly the right time. It was Dean who was lost, floundering in Hell with no end in sight.
And so the mighty angel raised the righteous man from Hell, and in doing so, left a piece of himself upon his soul.
This is that story. All the times Castiel touched Dean Winchester's soul. All the ways they've changed and grown, hurt and loved, lived and died, together.
Because what is true, and what will always be true, is this;
The righteous man, no matter the trial, is still beautiful, because he is still Dean Winchester.- Language:

Summary
Cas Novak is not natural, it seems, because there's a boy whose father signed him up to help at the food bank every Saturday that has a voice like honey and eyes that linger on Cas like he's something worth looking at. Which he isn't.
Dean Winchester has been forced into volunteering by his dad (who's an asshole, by the way) due to his behaviour. Unfortunately, the boy he has to help out has nice eyes and a deep voice. Fuck. -

Summary
Castiel's death hits Dean with a finality that leaves him drowning. Drowning in grief, in regret, in self-loathing, in heartbreak, in liquor. So when he stumbles across Lilly Sunder's notes on angels and, subsequently, a passage mentioning a gate to opening the Empty, he is determined to get Cas back.
No matter the cost.
Three weeks after Cas' return from the Empty, he is slowly healing from what the spell to retrieve him took. Three weeks after Cas' return, omens of angels and demons are scattered around the country. Three weeks after Cas' return, the Empty is bleeding.
Dean swore he would get Cas back no matter the cost. And he has, at the cost of endangering the balance of life and the afterlives. Dean has learned from dying and being the one left behind that it is easy to die for someone, but it is much harder to face the costs of surviving alongside them.
Even so, this time, Dean will not watch Cas die. And Cas has not and will not ever allow the same.
